This succulent wine is made in the style of a ruby port. During fermentation, a portion of the wine is drawn out of the tank and into neutral barrels. 2 year barrel aged brandy is added to both arrest the fermentation and leave behind the natural grape sugars and to add a roasted vanilla characteristic. Aged for an additional 2 years in barrel, this smooth and round wine is a perfect accompaniment to after dinner desserts or just great conversation.
