Our winemaking style continues to evolve for our only sweet wine. Clarksburg is located in the Sacramento River Valley and is becoming known for elegant whites. This vintage was harvested early in the season and maintains a light color, fresh acidity and lower alcohol. Not too sweet, just enough to accentuate the varietals characteristic flavors of lime, green apple, and stone fruit with aromas of jasmine.

Our Chardonnay continues to hail from Atlas Peak in Napa Valley. 2018 was deemed an especially good vintage and we decided to extend the barrel aging to see how the wine developed. 3 years in French oak has resulted in a silky-smooth Chardonnay packed with aromas of apple, pear and light caramel notes.

The 2021 growing season was challenging. Unwelcome rains played havoc with some of our whites, but the thick-skinned Cabernet Franc handled the worst of the abuse. 15 months of barrel aging adds structure. This mid-weight wine has been blended with a bit of the heavier 2020 vintage to give it more intensity. Earthy aromas with a touch of cinnamon are sure to please.

Our Zinfandel continues to be sourced from the Harney Lane Ranch in Lodi. Lodi grows a lot of Zinfandel, and producers are creating some beautiful wines from that region. Our Zin has been aged for 2 ½ years in large format French oak barrels to allow for the softening of the wine, and the integration of the toasty oak nuances.  Spicy and toasty, this beautiful ruby colored Zin pairs beautifully with cheeses, marinara sauces or roasted meats and game.
